An Honest Khamrah Review – By Lattafa
Welcome to our Khamrah Review!
It´s hard to be professional when I talk about this perfume, but what can I do if Lattafa makes a perfume as good as Angels´Share, and for some people even better, for an absurdly cheap price point?
Khamrah is one of the most successful Lattafa perfumes on sale. In 2023 it exploded with the help of Tiktok and now it seems everyone forgot this fragrance. But, is this perfume that good? How it smells? Is it more for men or women? Is it a good fragrance? or is it just a hype perfume to increase Lattafa sales and media? Every single one of these questions will be answered in this Khamrah review, so don´t worry! Without any more talking, let’s go for the review!
Khamrah Review: Overall Opinion
Yes, Khamrah is the best perfume from Lattafa in my opinion. I mean, I don´t remember that much of a perfume that costs less than 50€ and has the same quality as this one. Some of Maison Alhambra´s fragrances achieve this level of cost benefit but they are harder to find on the market. And this brand is a sub-brand from Lattafa, so yes, Lattafa is the King of Arabic fragrances.
Khamrah has an amazing smell that resembles Angels´Share. But honestly, this perfume is even better. It has a stronger “vibe” of a classy perfume, without any cloying notes or an over-sweet smell which makes the perfume more likeable for everyone.
In this Khamrah review, we´ll discuss the most important aspects of the fragrance including its scent, fragrance evolution, performance, versatility and price. Join me on this journey and enjoy the reading!
Scent Profile
Lattafa Khamrah has a strong vibe of “boozy” perfume without any alcoholic ingredient in its blend. It´s a very formal and classy perfume with notes of praline, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. It has a blend of notes of:
- Top Notes: Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Bergamot
- Middle Notes: Praline, Dates and Tuberose
- Base Notes: Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Benzoin and Wood Notes
First, the fragrance starts with a strong cinnamon and nutmeg opening with a “boozy” vibe that resembles cognac, similar to Angels´Share. The perfume keeps alternating between a sweet fruity smell with an intense boozy smell during the first 30 minutes of the dry-down, but always with a warm spicy feeling.
After a few hours, the perfume settles down with a warming, cosy and elegant vanilla boozy scent. It´s amazing how elegant the fragrance smells with a perfect balance of warmth and elegance. The smell of vanilla, benzoin, praline and wood notes takes up space and stays for the rest of the longevity.
I don´t need to say much more about this perfume for you to understand how incredible is to smell this fragrance. If you like “boozy” perfumes, you should and must try this one. Lattafa Khamrah is one of the best perfumes in my collection and is a must-try for every perfume lover.
Performance
Lattafa Khamrah is a strong perfume with very good longevity and high projection. I would even say that it´s better than Angels´Share in terms of overall performance. The fragrance sticks to your skin for more than 12 hours easily.
Khamrah has a good projection, making sure everyone around you smells the boozy scent. I would say this fragrance has a medium/strong projection because after a few hours, the perfume gets more shy.
However, it is crucial to acknowledge that the performance of any fragrance is closely linked to individual skin chemistry. Therefore, results may vary from. We highly recommend purchasing a decant or a travel bottle size or even testing it and experiencing the performance on your skin.
Versatility
Khamrah is a perfume for cold weather. It´s a fragrance to use in formal events or any casual occasion that has alcohol involved.
Throughout winter this perfume becomes perfect for gathering in a bar or even a date in a fancy restaurant. It suits well with these cold and sensual occasions. You can be bored or even doing anything in the place, but you´ll become an interesting person if someone smells this fragrance on you.
But, try to avoid using it during warm seasons. Khamrah was built for cold days, not for beach moments or burning temperatures.
